Local, for real

A neighbor and his small crew

This company is named for Franklin for a reason: it's the heart of Williamson County and the kind of place where craftsmanship still matters. From historic homes near downtown to newer builds in Westhaven and Berry Farms, Franklin houses deserve walls with character — and owners here know the difference between done and done right.

I hang fine wallpaper — murals, hand-printed and specialty papers — on walls we prepare ourselves, and my crew and I build wainscoting laid out to each room's proportions: board and batten, raised panel, picture-frame molding, full-height paneling. Every job caulked, primed, and painted before I call it finished.

Common question

Straight answers

Do you work in historic Franklin homes?

Gladly — older walls are exactly why a paperhanger should also be a finish carpenter. Plaster repair, out-of-square corners, and trim profiles that don't exist at the lumberyard anymore are part of the job, not a surprise.

Who does the work?

Sean Penner and a small, hand-picked crew. Sean is the owner, the finish carpenter, and the person who answers the phone — and he's on every job. Nearly two decades in construction, one project at a time, backed by a one-year workmanship warranty.
